About the Accountant position
Duties of Accountants will include the preparation of financial statements and reports. We expect you to be well aware of accounting principles and best practices, and be able to perform calculations with keen attention to detail efficiently
Accountant responsibilities are:
- Attending regular meetings with each bot team for client updates and concerns
- Review Karbon Work items or tasks per client-update recurring setting if needed
- Going through the Triage in Karbon daily
- Handle all client communication during US business hours
- Client bill pay
- Complex JEs
- Fixed assets
- Review AR accruals and rev rec schedules
- Final review of client's books using Xenett app as per CMS assignment
- Audit support- Internal & External
- Answer client-related and accounting questions for team members within 24 hours
- Document questions from team members
- Develop best practices per client and ensure it is being followed
- Prepare process docs for complex procedures & attaching the link to Karbon's work item
- Daily signoff form per client to debrief PH team on status for the day review
- Review senior accountant work
- Update uncategorized transactions in QBO or Xero when needed, if changes made upload a new report to the partner portal
- Create work items for redeployed clients if retool is not working
- Acceptance of Redeployed clients & Checking access/credentials for NDE
- Collate team questions & concerns for relay to GP, updates should be relayed thru the SPS channel
- Push / Assign uncategorized transactions to the partner
- Create and post portal tasks as needed
- Bills Review up to JE posting
- Amortization Schedules
- Assist in bot team tasks if needed
- 1099 assessments
Accountant requirements are:
- 3+ years of accounting experience and/or plus 1+ year of auditing experience
- Willing to work the night shift
- Good knowledge of Google Productivity Applications or MS Office
- QBO and Xero knowledge/experience
- Strong team player skills with close attention to detail
- Good analytical, numerical, and presentational skills
- BS in Accountancy
